Well, I got back last night, but I was sleepy and lazy, and didn't feel like updating. BUT, I'm here now, and I've added two more members to the club. And I'm still waiting for votes for the contest from 16 members! Please guys, it isn't that hard to just send a note to the club telling me which contest entry your voting for. Originally, the deadline for votes was August 13, but since so many of you haven't voted yet (and because I was leaving that day and forgot about it), I'm extending it to August 21. That's this Saturday, so vote now!

Also, ~ayin-ayerou should be back by the 23rd, so until then, it'll just be me handling the club :3

Whee. As you may have read in ~ayin-ayerou's update, she's gonna be taking another vacation soon; unfortunately, she'll be leaving the same day or the day after I do. I'll be visiting family, and the computer is dial-up there, so I probably won't be online at all. Ayin is leaving the 13th or the 14th, and I'm not sure when she's coming back, and I'll be gone the 13th through the 18th. So in that week (well, 5 days) notes will be unanswered, so don't think we're ignoring you. We just won't be around :3

In non-Hellboy related news that I know no one will really care about but I feel like sharing anyways: I got a car!

Okay, so ~ayin-ayerou is on vacation, and my dad's computer still won't save images as anything but BMP's, so art submissions are closed right now. Sorry guys Any notes you send submitting art will be untouched until my computer's online or until my dad's computer snaps out of this funk. I think Ayin's gonna be gone for a few weeks, so hopefully my computer or dad's will be better before then. Anywho, other than that, still awaiting more votes; I've only got 9 so far!

I don't mean to sound like a Nazi, but it really pisses me off when you can't even take the time to vote. All you'll have to do is type the number of the entry you like best, and send a note back. It will be that easy. If you DO NOT vote, I will make a journal entry called the journal entry of shame (because it's not really a wall, is it?) and your name will go on it! And I'll be giving you till August 13th (hey! Friday the 13th) to send in your votes, so there'll be no "I didn't have enough tiiiime!" whiny responses accepted.

Okay, so I saved the pictures people wanted to submit to disk, and changed them to JPEG's on my computer :3 I also wanna apologize to *shard-suterusu for taking so long to upload her picture since she actully sent it before my computer's internet died Very sorry about that! Also, I've bought the plushie that's the prize for the contest, but unfortunately my camera link cable thingy to my computer isn't working. If I don't get it to work soon, I'll just scan the plushie for you to see

Oh! And according to Wal-mart, Hellboy will be out on DVD July 27th!

...ugh -_- My computer's internet currently isn't working, so I have to use my dad's... and for some reason, I can't save images as JPEG files on this computer, only Bitmaps... aaand because DA stupidly only lets you submit JPEG and PNG files, I can't upload anyone's art right now. I am saving your notes however, so as soon as my computer is online again, I'll put your art up.

Just for people who are interested, Hellboy comes out sometime next month on DVD! Also, if you have a dollar theater near you, see if it's playing there; it's showing around here now, so it could be near you, too :3 Also, since I'm still clueless on a contest, haven't made an ID, and no one has suggested anything else.. we're gonna have an ID contest. Yeeup. Aaaand the rules are:
1) No slash... please. And just to keep it fair, let's try to avoid romance altogether so people don't fuss over couples, mmkay?
2) NO PICTURES FROM THE MOVIE OR COMICS. C'mon, if I wanted something like that, I would have made it myself. If you draw a scene from the movie/comics, that's an entirely different story :3 Just no screencaps or scans.
3) Send a NOTE with a link to your entry. If you comment on the front page and I don't see it, it isn't my fault
4) Ending date is July 31st. That gives you over a month ladies and gentlemen, so if no one enters, I'll assume no one cares, and I'll make the ID myself. I can understand if you're busy or procrastinate, but put forth a little effort :3;
5) And the prizes will be a Hellboy plushie + a request picture from me. If you win and can't give me your mailing address, let me know and we'll try to work something out. Also, I don't have the plushie.. ah.. yet. I'll be sure to buy one soon and take a picture and put it up here just so you'll know I'm not lying to you guys

Group accounts, or “clubs” of any sort, are prohibited from using the Favorites system to ‘collect’ the deviations of their own membership. If you wish the deviations of your ‘club members’ to be associated with the ‘club’ account it should be done by the standard submission process and not through the use of the Favorites System.

You have until Tuesday, May 11, 2004 to remove the favorites currently listed on your account. You may do this by revisiting the deviation and using the +fav tool a second time.

There will be no further warning.

So I'm going to have to unfav the few things I had for the club Just thought I'd put this up and let my affiliates know, too..
